Being in control

Friday was suppose to be happy, but it was not, the whole day was a mess.

I am not going to go through all the frustration that I had, but to make the long story short, I had a bundle of goods that were urgently needed stucked in the Shanghai custom and was unable to get the custom to release them, I have learnt from that unfortunate day: not everything can be under control and there are always some things that you just need to... GET OVER IT. Was not easy for an individual who rarely "take NO for an answer" but for this time, my request had been REJECTED :(

Nightmare continues.

Evening race, 5000m, thought it was going to be easy, it was a distance that I was totally comfortable wtih, was confident that I was going to nail it. Then it started to rain, just 30 second before the race. Was running in the rain like the bloody ending of Step up 2, soaked from top to bottom, 5000m turns into a cross country running (cross river running). Broke my own record (slowest 5000m), but was really glad that I had atleast finished it.

Terribly terribly day.

Being in control: Mood, body and number of hours spent on 9gag

Not being in control: Shanghai Custom, weather and calories intake
